Chanel Belle is a loving and affectionate girl who adores people. She enjoys snuggling on the couch, being your shadow around the house, and greeting every new person with a full-body wiggle and a happy wag. She is believed to be a 4-year-old pitbull/boxer mix, weighing 58lbs. Chanel is friendly with other dogs, preferring calm companions who give her space initially. Once comfortable, she enjoys gentle play like chase. She would do best in a home with a mellow male dog who enjoys company but isn't looking for a playmate, or she would be just as happy as the sole canine companion. Chanel does not do well with cats.

Chanel Belle would thrive in a semi-active home with a family who enjoys walks and wants a super affectionate companion. She'd also be happy in a home with a backyard. She would do best with a mellow male dog and would not do well in a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Chanel Belle is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has been heartworm tested and treated if needed.
Training & Support
Chanel is eager to learn and already knows basic commands like "sit" and may know "sit pretty." She walks well on a leash with occasional pulling and responds well to correction. She is house-trained and crate-trained. Her only request is to be allowed on the couch.

Transporation
Chanel Belle is located in Texas. Transport is available across the US on USDA licensed vehicles, including to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). An additional $87 surcharge for transport will apply due to rising fuel costs. All adoptions within Texas must be picked up from Friendswood, TX.
