Meet Babe Ruth - A Big Heart Ready for His Home Run!
Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly 40lb boy who wants nothing more than love and affection. His story didn't start the way it should have; he was rescued from a hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom. Despite that rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit. He adores being close to his people, whether that's curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house just to be near you. With that sweet face and gentle spirit, he radiates calmness that rescue volunteers have found to be calming to them as well. We believe he'd be great with kids and cats based on his consistent calm, unreactive demeanor, and he'd be a great fit as an ESA dog.
Ideal Home
Babe Ruth would do best in a home that can continue showing him kindness, stability, and love. He just needs a soft place to land, a family to call his own, and someone to love him the way he's always deserved.

Transportation
Babe Ruth is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may go to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Each adopter can track the van using the Life360 app and will receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
