Jason is a smart and fun-loving 64 lb companion who is eager to please and form a deep connection with his person. He masters new skills and agility with ease, often looking to his handler for direction and guidance. Jason enjoys hiking, car rides, and playing with balls. He has completed Dog School Training and is a natural "sports dog" who thrives on challenges and responds well to game-based training. He's known to be obedient, focused, and affectionate, with a protective instinct when given love. Jason has been living with another dog in his foster home and engages well with other dogs, though he prefers not to be dominated.

Ideal Home

An experienced dog handler who can continue his training and provide him with plenty of exercise and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Jason will receive a full medical assessment before leaving Cortez Rescue to ensure he remains in optimum health.

Training & Support

Jason knows basic leash skills and obedience commands, including sit, down, off, wait, heel, and come. He will benefit from continued leash and obedience training.
