Parker

Parker is a super smart, friendly, and energetic young male German Shepherd mix who found himself needing a new home due to overcrowding at a California shelter caused by mass flooding. Everyone who meets Parker falls in love with him! His absolute favorite thing in the world, besides his humans, is his squeaky ball. He is incredibly toy-motivated and will do almost anything for a chance to play fetch. Parker's antics with his ball, like catching it mid-air and squeaking it with glee, are a constant source of entertainment for the staff.

Ideal Home

Parker is a strong boy and will need an experienced owner who is accustomed to the energy and needs of an active German Shepherd or other large breed.

Ongoing Health

Parker is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Parker has done well getting to know some other dogs at his own pace, he has shown some reactivity to other dogs when he is on his leash. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, we believe he can continue to make progress. His toy motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.
