Tuffie

Meet Tuffie! This adorable 3-year-old Toy Poodle weighs just 10 pounds and is proof that love truly can change a life. Tuffie came to us through a breeder release after spending most of his life in a kennel with very little socialization. When he first arrived, the world was a scary place, but every single day, Tuffie shows us just how much he's learning to trust, love, and enjoy being part of a family. Watching Tuffie blossom has been one of the most rewarding experiences for his foster family. While he may be a little reserved when meeting new people, it doesn't take long before his sweet personality starts to shine. Once he feels safe, he happily seeks out affection, enjoys being loved on, and is discovering just how wonderful it feels to have people who truly care about him. Seeing his confidence grow has been nothing short of amazing.

Ideal Home

Tuffie absolutely loves the company of other dogs and gains confidence from having canine friends around him. He's also good with cats and has a calm, gentle nature that makes him an easy addition to a peaceful home. He needs a patient family who will celebrate his small victories, cheer him on as he continues to gain confidence, and understand that the strongest bonds are often the ones that take time to build.

Ongoing Health

Tuffie is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Tuffie is doing well sleeping in his crate and continues to make great progress with his house training. He simply needs a family willing to continue encouraging him as he learns what life as a beloved pet is all about.
