Heidi

Meet Miss Heidi! She is a lovely 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who came to us as a stray with her sister, Clementine. Because they were found as strays, we don't know much about their past, but we do know that Heidi is a bit shy and will need a kind, patient person to help her blossom and feel comfortable in the world. Once she warms up to you, she's a sweetheart who loves to give hugs and will even sing you the song of her people! Heidi walks well on a leash, is working on her basic commands, and has a generally laid-back demeanor.

Ideal Home

Heidi would thrive in a home that can offer her patience and understanding as she gains confidence. Due to her shyness and large size, she cannot go to a home with small children.

Ongoing Health

Heidi has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations. She has received deworming, flea and ear mite treatment, and a full veterinary check-up.

Training & Support

Heidi is working on her basic commands and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. Her adopters should be prepared to help her build confidence in new situations.
