Wednesday

Wednesday is a charming 1.5-year-old Pittie Mix who weighs 57lbs. She came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own and has quickly captured the hearts of her foster family. Wednesday is a true sweetheart who loves to snuggle, play fetch, and will happily don a cute outfit to stay warm. She’s described as a "lazy house hippo" who also enjoys being a couch potato.

Ideal Home

Wednesday would thrive in a home where she can be the sole canine companion. While she enjoys observing other dogs on walks and can allow them to pass, she strongly prefers to be the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

Wednesday is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. She has tested heartworm negative and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Wednesday has completed a board and train program and is now showcasing her improved skills! She is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. She is also excellent on leash, sits when asked, and allows other dogs to pass. Her foster family notes that she is a people-friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys leaning into you or being a giant lap dog.
