Dewey

Dewey is a 4.5-month-old, 25 lb male Blue Heeler/Coonhound mix with a sweet and affectionate personality. He was unfortunately abandoned but found his way to a foster home where he's now enjoying life as a puppy. Dewey is crate-trained and doing well with potty training. He loves to play, romp in the yard, and snuggle up for kisses. He's still learning about chew toys versus shoes, but he's a smart pup who picks things up quickly. While generally brave, he can be startled by loud noises. He's also working on his leash manners and basic obedience.

Ideal Home

Dewey would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can explore and use his excellent sniffer, and also burn off some of his puppy energy. He'd also enjoy a reasonable activity level.

Ongoing Health

Dewey is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport. His adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) and microchipping.

Training & Support

Dewey is still learning the difference between chew toys and shoes. He is also working on his leash manners and basic obedience.

Dewey is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to his new home in the United States and Canada, with placements in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
