Luna

Meet Luna, a sweet and loving Dachshund who is ready to find her forever family! Born in June 2020 and weighing just 13 pounds, Luna is looking for a home where she can finally receive all the love and attention she deserves. She came to us from a breeder and lived with several other Dachshunds. While she was cared for, her previous family didn't have enough time for all their dogs, and now it's Luna's turn to be a cherished companion.

Luna is a house-trained indoor dog who will let you know when she needs to go outside. She hasn't had many opportunities to explore the world beyond her home, so she's still learning. She'll need a patient family to help her build confidence with leash training and car rides, as she has limited experience with both. Watching her blossom will be incredibly rewarding!

Ideal Home

Luna has thrived in an adults-only home, so we are seeking a similar environment. She tends to get along best with male dogs.

Ongoing Health

Luna will be spayed on 7/15. She is already vaccinated and microchipped.

Training & Support

Luna is not leash-trained and has limited experience with car rides. She will need a patient family to help her build confidence at her own pace. She makes a wonderful watchdog and will alert you when someone is at the door.
