MONTANA- Needs a foster/forever home!

Montana is a gorgeous Boxer mix, estimated to be born in 2022, who was found as a stray in Detroit. She is an energetic girl who would make a fantastic running or jogging partner! Montana absolutely adores to cuddle and snuggle; she'll shower you with love the moment you sit down. She enjoys her chew toys and the occasional peanut butter bone, and her tail wags like a helicopter when she receives pets! She is a sweetheart to people and warms up to them quickly. Montana enjoys walks but can be a little hesitant at first, though she's learning to be brave in the world every day. We believe Montana will blossom even more in a home environment.

Ideal Home

Montana needs an active family or person who can keep up with her energy. She would do best in a home with children 8 years old or older and requires a totally enclosed fenced yard. She may be okay with dogs after a slow introduction. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Montana is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Montana is house and crate trained.

• All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.
• A home visit is required.
• All dogs over 1 year old must attend a 6-week obedience class outside the home.
• You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs.
• Montana's adoption fee is $300.

Transporation

Montana is located in Birmingham, MI. We are able to transport dogs to approved adopters within a 1-hour radius of Birmingham, MI. Montana would also love to be in a foster home while she waits for her forever family!
