ROCKY

Rocky is a smart, handsome, and affectionate dog with unlimited potential! He loves walking, running, and hiking, and would excel in agility training. Rocky is incredibly patient and gentle, even with high-energy children and other animals like cats, goats, and chickens, whom he generally ignores. He's a great guard dog, alerting you to visitors but quickly becoming friendly once he knows they're welcome. While he can be a bit reserved for a few days in a new environment, once he feels secure, his loving and laid-back personality shines through. He's still getting used to new experiences, like the occasional scary garbage truck, but he tolerates crates and enjoys car rides.

Ideal Home

A home where Rocky can feel secure and loved. He does best when rugs that other animals may have had accidents on are removed, as this helps him learn his potty routine.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Rocky is still learning his potty routine and benefits from regular trips outside or an open door. He has not mastered asking to go out, but with consistency, he picks up the routine quickly. He's done well with sleeping in a crate or a closed bedroom at night.
