She has a history of living peacefully with cats and has shared her space with other dogs. However, she can be a bit particular with her canine friends, especially females. To ensure her happiness, she would do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm, older male companion, provided proper introductions are made. Onyx has a laid-back personality and can be left on her own without worry, as long as tempting garbage is kept out of reach.
