Daphne

Daphne is a beautiful 2-year-old Poodle/Pit mix who is as loving as she is strong! She came to us with her puppies from a Memphis shelter and has been undergoing heartworm treatment. She adores humans and would make a fantastic companion for kids. Daphne loves to play fetch, go for car rides, and snuggle up, but she also has a silly side and has been known to "steal" socks and hearts! She thrives on routine and likes her environment to stay consistent; she'll be sure to let you know if anything new pops up. She is a strong 56lb girl, so she'll need a confident handler on the leash.

Ideal Home

Daphne would do best in a home with children and would prefer to be the only pet, as she is not dog or cat friendly.

Daphne is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Daphne is house-trained and knows basic commands. She can be a bit of a sock thief, so keeping those put away might be helpful! She also alerts to new things in her environment, which is a great protective trait, but her new family should be prepared to help her manage this.
