Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Ashton is a true gem who found himself back with us because his family had to move. He's been a bit overwhelmed by the adjustment from a home to shelter life, but he's tackling it with a smile and a whole lot of happy energy. Ashton is a fetch champion – he'll eagerly bring the ball right back for another round! He thrives on being active and cherishing time with his favorite people. While he's a strong boy who's still learning his own size, he's incredibly sweet and has even made some canine friends here at the shelter. He’s a big guy with a personality to match, ready to fill your life with joy!

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment here at the shelter. Moving forward, he'll need a dedicated family to ensure he stays on his monthly heartworm prevention and receives regular veterinary care to keep him happy and healthy for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy who sometimes forgets his own size. With patience and consistency, he'll continue to learn and grow into the perfect companion.
