Meet Oakley! This handsome 68lb terrier/pitbull mix, born around December 16, 2021, is looking for his forever home. Oakley is a devoted companion who loves to be by your side, following you wherever you go. He's an independent and smart boy who already knows "sit" and "get on your bed." His favorite activity is going for walks, and he's a pro at leash manners, though he sometimes needs a reminder to slow down. Oakley is good with other dogs but would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, as he enjoys chasing cats and squirrels. Despite a difficult past, having been found as a stray and suffering from emaciation and an injury, Oakley is incredibly sweet and deserving of a loving life. He'll greet you with the most wonderful tail wags!
Ideal Home
Oakley would do best in a home where he can be your constant shadow. He would likely prefer to be the only dog in the household.

Oakley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Oakley is potty trained. While he walks well on a leash, he may need gentle guidance to "slow down" during walks.

Transportation
Oakley is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
