Meet Violet!

Violet is a sweet and loyal 1.5-year-old girl who has overcome a lot. She was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, and despite her tough start, she has emerged as a loving companion. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to reach you for pets. Her tongue is often sticking out, and she's loyal to her core. She is terrified of squeaky toys but absolutely adores playing tug with a hose. Violet shines at adoption events, meeting all kinds of people and dogs, and she is ready to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home where her adopter is willing to continue her training to build her confidence. A doggy friend in the home would also be a great addition, as she gains confidence from other dogs. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones, so a home with a slightly calmer environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed and vaccinated. She has no special needs at this time.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making huge strides with place and crate training. Her new family should be prepared to continue her training to help her build confidence.
