Ongoing Health

All vetting, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration are included.

Training & Support

Sahara is assessed by trainers on staff, and behavioral modifications are made as needed. Individualized behavior plans help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Fosters participate in group training and socialization playgroups.

Transporation

Sahara is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available nationwide through a USDA-certified transport system to various drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
