Panda is a shy but sweet dog with many layers to discover. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs about 50 pounds, likely a Pittie mix. Panda is named for his distinctive black and white coat and his mellow personality. He loves toys, chew bones, and daily walks, thriving on routine and structure. Panda forms deep bonds and offers endless love and gratitude to his humans. He's great on leash and an experienced traveler, settling well in the car. Panda enjoys snuggling and cuddling, often inching closer to his people on the couch. He is also kennel trained and house trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with another dog, as he draws confidence from canine companions. A home with children aged 5 and up who are respectful and sweet towards him would be suitable. Panda is not recommended for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life with humans and a stable home. Patience is key to winning his heart, along with Nyla bones and walks. He is great on leash, and his foster mom provides guidance and support. He will need a patient adopter to allow him a full decompression period.

Transportation
Panda is currently located in Texas. He can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is provided via USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. An additional $87 surcharge will apply for transport due to rising fuel costs.
