Meet Red, a charming 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50 pounds. Red came to us after his beloved owner sadly passed away. He's been in the loving care of a neighbor who rescues animals and has been thriving ever since! Red is always ready for fun, whether it's a play session with other dogs, a romp around the yard, or exploring new surroundings with enthusiasm and curiosity. He's also a total lovebug who happily cuddles up and soaks in all the affection you're willing to give.

Ideal Home

Red would love an active home where he can continue learning, playing, and being part of the family. He does well with other dogs and enjoys goofing off with his canine friends. While he has been friendly to neighbor kids when they've played near him, he has never lived in a home with children.

Ongoing Health

Red is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.

Training & Support

This playful pup is crate and potty trained and will let you know with a little whine when he needs to go out. He's learning the ropes of indoor life like a champ and loves to greet people by standing up and leaning in close for love—it's his signature move! Red knows basic commands like sit and lay down. He's still working on leash training as he didn't have much prior experience, but he is eager to learn and please. Before his foster home, Red lived outdoors and wasn't reactive to passersby; he has a calm nature in that way.
