Coffee

Coffee is a handsome male Labrador Creole mix with an approximate age of 1 year and weighing around 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 as a tiny puppy with his siblings and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. Coffee is a loving, intelligent, obedient, and playful dog who is sociable with all humans, children, and other dogs. He enjoys playtime, walks, and running, and absolutely adores affection. While he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, he quickly melts into your arms once he receives some love. He is also dog and cat friendly! Coffee is described as affectionate, docile, playful, and loyal, with a joyful and funny personality. He is already crate and leash trained.

Ideal Home

Coffee would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a home with a fenced backyard. Families with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, who understand their need for protection and education, are ideal. Experience with dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, is highly valued.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has completed a comprehensive health protocol including a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and microchipping. He has also tested negative for 4DX and heartworm. He is currently on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are available.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained. However, it's important to note that rescued dogs may not be house-trained, and while Coffee is working on it, he is not yet fully house-trained. Patience and continued positive reinforcement will be key to his success.

Transportation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on his next cross-country transport trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
