What we know: Two pups, Piper and Marley, 10 months old, found as strays in Las Vegas, NV in March of 2026. They searched for their owners for months without any luck finding them. Eventually they reached out to see if CPR could take them, vetted them, brought them in.
From the foster: Meet Marley - the loyal sidekick you've always needed.
Marley is everything you didn't know you were looking for, yet somehow everything you've always needed. She is an absolute love bug who adores her people and simply wants to be wherever you are. If you're looking for a constant companion, Marley is your girl.
While she can be a little unsure in new situations or environments, she settles in quickly-give her ten minutes, and you'll forget she was ever nervous. Marley forms deep bonds with her people and will happily follow you from room to room. When you call her name, she gives the sweetest smile, and you can see just how happy she is to receive even the smallest bit of affection.
Marley also loves other dogs and would enjoy having a canine sibling to show her the ropes. She has done wonderfully at the dog park, though she often seems just as excited to greet every person she meets as she is to play with the other dogs. She truly enjoys every new experience and approaches the world with a joyful heart.
Although Marley is still young, playful, and full of energy, all the hard work has already been done. She is fully house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and understands several basic commands, including sit, stay, and leave it. Like many affectionate young dogs, she is still working on not jumping up to greet people-she simply loves giving hugs and being as close to her humans as possible. She's also incredibly respectful in the home and hasn't shown any interest in chewing on things she shouldn't, so your shoes and charging cords are safe with her.
Marley is crate trained, though she would much rather curl up beside you in bed or on the couch. If her crate is near her people, she settles immediately. When kenneled while you leave the house, she may bark for a minute or two before quickly relaxing.
Marley's dream home is one filled with love, security, and companionship. She would thrive with someone who wants to show her the world, take her on adventures, and then spend quiet evenings cuddled up watching a movie together. While she would love a four-legged playmate, she would also be perfectly happy being the center of someone's universe.
If you're looking for a best friend who will greet you with a smile, love you wholeheartedly, and never let you feel alone, Marley is ready to find her forever home. Could it be with you?
