About Napoleon

Napoleon is a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a heart of gold and a playful, loving personality. This sweet boy is happiest when he is near his people, soaking up attention and affection whenever he can. He is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and likes to stay close to the person walking him. He also knows how to sit and give paw on command and is described as very curious, eager to learn, and people-oriented. Napoleon has a medium energy level and enjoys both playtime and relaxing with his people. When Napoleon gets attention and pets, he settles down beautifully and simply enjoys being loved. He is a friendly, affectionate young dog who is ready for a forever home of his own.

Ideal Home

Napoleon would do best with playful, tolerant dogs or a family ready to continue helping him learn boundaries around smaller pets. He has a tendency to chase when trying to initiate play with cats and dogs, though it's not out of aggression.

Ongoing Health

Napoleon is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Napoleon can sometimes jump up to greet people when excited, but his foster believes he is smart and will learn quickly with consistency and training. He is leash-trained and potty-trained. His crate training status is currently unknown.
