Meet Rocket, a handsome and resilient 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit mix who weighs in at a lean 65 lbs. Rocket's journey began on the side of a highway, but despite his rough start, he was rescued and has since made a full recovery from his injuries. He's now heartworm-negative and brimming with love to give. Rocket is an easy-going companion who enjoys playtime in the yard, followed by relaxing in his crate. He's already house-trained, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Thanks to his time with a professional trainer, he knows basic and advanced obedience commands.

Ideal Home

Rocket thrives with affection and enjoys vigorous petting and scratching. He has been gentle and patient with young children in his foster home and would be happy to have a canine sibling or be your sole companion.

Ongoing Health

Rocket is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He is heartworm-negative.

Training & Support

Rocket is house-trained, crate-trained, and has a solid foundation in basic and advanced obedience, including e-collar training. He has a prey drive, so a bark collar can help manage his interactions with squirrels. He is also a strong chewer and will need durable toys designed for tough chewers.
