Diesel Donut is a happy-go-lucky pittie mix, about 2 years old and weighing 48 pounds. He's a master of the mini-zoomies, a prolific toy-tosser, and a people-lover who is always ready to spread his contagious happiness. Diesel is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection, and he can't wait to find his forever family!
Ideal Home
Diesel would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can run, play fetch, and toss his toys to his heart's content. While he could potentially do well in an apartment with plenty of exercise and playtime, a home with a yard would be ideal. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would thrive with a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy. He would also be happy as the sole canine companion. Diesel cannot live with cats, as he would love to play chase with them.
Ongoing Health
Diesel is a young, active dog. All vetting is up to date, and he will receive a heartworm preventative injection, a heartworm test, and a microchip with free lifetime registration before adoption.
Training & Support
Diesel is crate and house-trained and settles down nicely overnight. He has great basic leash skills and walks well in low-distraction environments. While he can get excited and occasionally bark at other dogs when passing them on leash, he is receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries, and we are confident he will learn quickly with consistent training. He is still young and will need an adopter who is active and can provide ongoing training, structure, and playtime.
