Lentil Lou is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 48 lbs, with a heart full of love and a spirit as joyful as an oversized puppy. She's incredibly social and greets everyone with pure happiness, always ready to make a new friend. Lentil Lou adores other dogs and lights up during playtime, bringing laughter, affection, and endless cuteness wherever she goes. Ideal Home

Lentil Lou would thrive in a home with a semi-active family that enjoys neighborhood walks and is looking for a super affectionate girl. She would also be an amazing adventure buddy! We believe Lentil would do best in a home with kids 12 and older and would do great in a home with another playful dog, but she can also be your one and only. She would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs and happily meander alongside you.

Lentil Lou is a rescue dog, and while we believe her to be approximately 1 year old, we cannot guarantee breed or age.

Training & Support

Lentil is a smart gal, treat-motivated, and eager to please. She already knows how to sit and walks fairly nicely on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement. She responds well to gentle reminders and is comfortable tandem walking with other dogs. Lentil is also crate trained and potty trained. With patience, consistency, and treats, training with Lentil will be a fun and rewarding bonding experience.

Transporation

Lentil Lou is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
