Bennie

Meet Bennie! This handsome 35-pound boy is estimated to be around three years old and boasts a beautiful blue merle coat with a cute nub tail. Bennie has blossomed in our care, transforming from a shy pup to a happy, bouncy companion. He loves to play, run, and shower his favorite person with affection once he feels comfortable.

Ideal Home

Bennie would thrive in an active household with no young children. While a dog sibling would be great, he'd also be happy with good dog friends to interact with. He's a bit timid, so a quieter, less high-traffic area would be ideal for him. Most importantly, Bennie needs a patient adopter committed to helping him build confidence and overcome his fears.

Ongoing Health

Bennie is fully up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Bennie is a work in progress and will need an adopter dedicated to further training. He's making great strides with potty and household training but will need continued guidance with leash walking, basic commands, and appropriate play. He's still learning how to read other dogs' body language, so continued socialization with other dogs is encouraged.
