Diesel Donut here, reporting for duty as your loyal shadow, fetch partner, slightly over-sized lap-dog, and the reason for everyday laughs! This happy-go-lucky pittie mix is about 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds, a perfect medium size. Diesel has a contagious happiness and loves to play with any toy you give him, often entertaining himself by tossing them in the air and retrieving them. He's a wonderful mix of playful energy and sweet affection, quiet but always ready for fun.
Ideal Home
Diesel would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can zoom and play fetch to his heart's content. While he could adapt to apartment living with regular adventures, a yard would be ideal. He walks well on a leash and is polite when meeting new people. When encountering other dogs, he can get excited and bark, but he is receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries, so we're confident he'll learn quickly with consistent guidance. He loves people and will happily cuddle up after playtime.
Diesel is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. He would thrive with a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy and bouncy play style. A more submissive dog might feel overwhelmed. He could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only canine companion. He is not a good fit for homes with cats, as he would likely try to play chase with them.
Ongoing Health
Diesel is a young, active dog. All vetting is up to date, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, and heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Diesel is crate and house-trained and settles well overnight, with only occasional brief whining. He needs an active adopter who can provide ongoing training, structure, playtime, and plenty of love.
