Meet Rufus, a delightful Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and Australian Shepherd mix, born on April 1st and ready to bring a lifetime of joy to his forever family! Rufus is a bundle of energy with a scruffy, handsome face and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. He's a perfect blend of intelligence, loyalty, and affection, and loves to be right by your side. He's been raised in a loving home environment, well-socialized with children from day one, and is learning to be a respectful companion to the cats in his foster home. Whether he's enthusiastically chasing his favorite toys, embarking on backyard adventures, or snuggling up for a nap with his siblings, Rufus is happiest when he's with his people.

Ideal Home

Rufus is looking for a family who can shower him with love, plenty of adventure, and of course, lots of belly rubs! Due to his young age and energetic nature, he would do best in a home with children who are old enough to understand how to be gentle and respectful with a young puppy.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is current on vaccinations and has been neutered. As with all puppies, it's important to remember that he is still growing and developing.

Training & Support

Rufus is described as friendly, playful, and eager to learn. He's already had a great start with socialization, but continued training and positive reinforcement will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved adult dog.
