Zac is a 5-year-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs around 60 pounds. He's a loyal and loving companion with a wonderful balance of playful energy and a desire to relax by your side. Zac was rescued from a county shelter and underwent FHO surgery on a back leg, which has healed completely with no further medical intervention needed. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys car rides. Zac is a conversationalist, especially when treats are involved, and has a sweet habit of gazing lovingly into your eyes. He's done well with dogs of all sizes and has shown no signs of resource guarding.
Ideal Home
Zac would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He enjoys having canine companions and is happiest when people are nearby. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he'd do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when excited.
Ongoing Health
Zac has fully recovered from FHO surgery on a back leg. There is no further medical intervention needed, and he is not on any medications.
