Meet Rio! Rio is a young, energetic pup who looks like a delicious Oreo cookie! He's a super fast learner who loves to train for treats and knows several commands like "sit" and "come." He's also a fan of fetch and tug-of-war, and enjoys car rides, though he's still working on his restraint manners. Bath time and nail trims are no problem for this loveable guy. He's happy to be your one and only or to join a household with other dogs who don't mind a playful pup.

Ideal Home

Rio would thrive in a home that enjoys his entertaining antics and is willing to provide extra guidance. He needs a sturdy, chill dog friend his size or larger who is not easily annoyed and can correct his playful exuberance. He is not good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Rio is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Rio is working on his sharing skills and dog-on-dog social skills. He needs plenty of approved chew toys. His foster mom, a professional trainer, is offering guidance to his future family.
