Frank

Frank is a super-sweet, almost 4-year-old Great Dane looking for a loving forever home. He bonds closely with his people and enjoys relaxing indoors on the couch. Frank weighs 170 pounds and is ready for his new home.

Ideal Home

Frank would do best with adopters experienced with Danes or large dogs. Because he has displayed protective behavior around his people while on leash, an adult-only home with a consistent routine and confident leadership is preferred. He has been around children without previous issues and gets along well with dogs of all sizes, including his Mastiff brother. He has been socialized at dog parks and dog-friendly bars and is described as great off leash.

The provider prefers placing adult Danes locally in Washington or neighboring states so they can experience less stress and can be returned more easily if needed.

Ongoing Health

Frank is neutered, has had his stomach tacked, is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention, and is microchipped. He will receive veterinary checks before going home, and health records are available from the provider.

Training & Support

Frank recently completed three weeks of board-and-train, including training with an e-collar. His placement includes basic obedience and manners, initial potty training, and access to a training program.
