Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 37 lbs. While her exact breed mix is a guess, she appears to be a Staffie-style mix. She's a happy, medium-sized dog with plenty of energy and a heart full of love to give.

On walks, Pippi is a pleasure, maintaining a relaxed pace and responding well to gentle guidance. When she receives affection, she becomes almost giddy with enthusiasm, wiggling with pure joy! Her boundless excitement is infectious and bound to make you giggle.

Pippi is friendly and confident with other dogs, but she doesn't need to be best friends with everyone. If another dog's energy isn't a good match, she's happy to move on. She enjoys playful interactions and does best with confident dogs, both male and female. She can be bold in her play style with equally playful and confident canine companions. The good news is that Pippi responds well to structure and benefits from clear boundaries. She would not be a good fit for a very submissive dog or one that lacks confidence to set boundaries.

Pippi enters her crate without any fuss, which is a big win! She will thrive with an active family who enjoys playing and wants a dog that greets each day with celebration. Her reaction to cats has been mixed and inconclusive, so we would love to see her in a home with a cat or two to better understand her interactions with felines.

Pippi is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport is available. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
