Goose and/or Maverick (brothers but bond has changed)

Goose and Maverick are two handsome young brothers, barely a year old, who were found abandoned near Clewiston. They are smart, sassy, and are learning to embrace their individuality while still sharing a strong bond. Goose, with his mostly white face, is a true snugglebug who loves to be close to his people. Maverick, with his tan face, is a bit more independent but equally charming. They can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, they warm up to become wonderful companions.

Ideal Home

These boys need a home with an experienced owner who understands Rat Terriers. They are not a good fit for first-time pet owners. A securely fenced yard is a must, as they are clever and have been known to go under fences if they feel something needs investigating outside. They should not be left unattended in the yard.

Ongoing Health

Goose and Maverick are generally healthy young dogs.

Training & Support

They are food motivated and fast learners, and they do have good recall. However, they require consistent training and guidance, especially given their inquisitive nature and ability to go under fences. Continuing crate training, particularly during mealtimes, is recommended. They love squeaky and squishy toys, which can keep them happily occupied.
