Rusty A Calm & Gentle Soul, Snuggles, Good w/Dogs, 4 yrs old, 55 lbs

Rusty is a wonderfully calm and gentle 4-year-old Retriever/Lab mix who weighs around 55 pounds. He came to us from a high-intake shelter where he was at risk due to lack of space. Thankfully, he was well-loved by the shelter staff, who described him as an amazing dog, and our rescue was able to step in and give him the second chance he so deserves. Now, Rusty is thriving in his foster home and is a true testament to the phrase "calm and gentle soul."

Ideal Home

Rusty is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been living happily with two canine companions in his foster home. He also enjoys the company of teenage boys and has shown himself to be a friendly and affectionate member of the household. While he enjoys playtime, he's just as content to relax by your side, making him an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal and easygoing friend.

Ongoing Health

Rusty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He will receive a final veterinary health inspection before joining his forever family.

Training & Support

Rusty is a well-behaved boy who is already house-trained and crate-trained. He even enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open! He loves attention and is happy to sit still while being brushed, showing his gentle nature.
