My name is Mickey! I'm a good boy who found himself homeless and I'm not sure why. I'm a 45lb medium-sized mixed breed with a lovely red and brown coat. I'm learning that this "shelter" is a place where volunteers love all the dogs, and they give us clean kennels, fresh water, and a big bowl of food every day! My favorite part of the day is when I get to go out and play, especially with my girlfriend Swazie. I'm told that getting a real home of my own sounds pretty cool, and I know I would be the best couch companion.

Ongoing Health

Mickey tested positive for heartworms and is currently on the slow-kill plan. He has shown no symptoms.
