Skye is a beautiful 1-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle heart that's just waiting for the right person to help it shine.

Originally rescued from a shelter, Skye has made incredible progress in foster care. While she can be shy and reserved when meeting new people, patience and kindness are all she needs. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to blossom.

One thing we have learned about Skye is that she absolutely thrives with another friendly, confident dog. Having a canine companion has helped build her confidence and has brought her out of her shell in ways we never imagined. Because of this, we'd love to see her join a home with another social dog who can continue to show her the ropes.

Skye is looking for a family that understands that trust takes time. She isn't the type of dog who will run up to every stranger but watching her confidence grow and seeing her learn to love is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have.

Sadly, through no fault of her own, Skye is looking for a new home once again. We are determined to make this her last move and find the forever family she truly deserves.
