Hercules

Meet Hercules! This sweet, loving, and affectionate Cattle Dog mix has been with the rescue for a long time. True to his breed, Hercules needs a lot of exercise and a daily purpose, which is difficult to provide in a shelter environment. Because of this, he has developed some anxiety. A behavioral trainer has evaluated him and describes him as a great dog with no aggression, but he does have boundaries and triggers that need to be respected and handled appropriately. Most importantly, he needs an outlet for his energy.

Ideal Home

Hercules would do best in a home with adopters who are experienced with herding breeds and dogs who experience anxiety. He needs an active family that can provide him with plenty of daily exercise, a calm and reassuring environment, and who will respect his individuality and boundaries.
