Kermit the Dog

Kermit is a handsome 2-year-old, 44 lb bundle of joy with a sleek physique and striking brindle tiger stripes! He’s the perfect size for both adventure and couch cuddles. Kermit is house trained, crate trained, and has excellent house manners, even being trusted to free roam in his foster home. He’s a great traveler and recalls well. While new environments can initially make him a bit timid, he quickly decompress and blossoms into an affectionate "Velcro boy" who loves to snuggle and be near his people. He responds well to boundaries and clear expectations.

Ideal Home

Kermit would thrive in a home that appreciates his energetic spirit and sensitive nature. He’d love an adopter who enjoys both active play and quiet evenings together. He needs a cat-free home, as he exhibits fear and nervousness around felines.

Ongoing Health

Kermit is neutered and up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Kermit is house-trained and crate-trained. He also shows good recall and free-roams well in his foster home.

Transportation

Kermit is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
