Moxie Foxie Friend to All

Moxie is what would happen if you mixed together sunshine, squeaky toys, belly rubs, and the world's sweetest little goober into one absolutely adorable dog. At around 5 years old, this lab/pittie mix is the definition of a family girl. She's playful, affectionate, goofy, and SO full of love. Moxie has this soft, sweet personality that makes people instantly fall for her. She's the kind of dog who looks at you like you personally hung the moon... and then immediately flops onto her back demanding tummy rubs as payment. She is a professional at belly rubs and performs full dramatic fainting spells directly onto her back with all four paws in the air like a little spotted fainting goat. Moxie absolutely loves toys and will proudly carry squeaky toys around the house chomping and squeaking away like it's her full-time career. She has this happy goofy energy that makes her feel like a permanent cartoon character. Everything is exciting to her. Everything is fun. Everything deserves a happy little tail wag.

Ideal Home

Moxie would love a home with a yard where she can zoom around, play with her dog friends, and live her best goofy little life. She also enjoys the company of a resident dog and truly blossoms around other pups, so a playful canine companion would be a dream come true for her. Moxie is wonderful with children and has lived with a toddler and a baby, making her a fantastic family dog. However, cats are not her thing, so a feline-free home is a must.

Ongoing Health

Moxie does have some skin allergies, which technically makes her a special needs girl, but she truly doesn't let it slow her down one bit. She just needs a limited ingredient diet and regular vet care to help keep her skin comfy and healthy.

Training & Support

Moxie is super smart and easy to live with. She's wonderful on leash, crate trained, treat motivated, and knows commands like sit and lay down. Her foster home has provided her with excellent socialization and training, and she's ready to continue learning and growing with her new family.

• The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
