About Bell

Bell is a wonderful, friendly Great Pyrenees mix who weighs approximately 60 pounds. As you can see from her smile, she is a happy girl! Bell and her brother, Bear, were found as strays. Bear is currently being treated for heartworm and will be available later this summer.

Ideal Home

Great Pyrenees can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective, and cannot be off-leash. You will not train a Pyr to boundaries. All family members must be in agreement to adopting and ready to bring a dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We try to avoid dogs with same-sex households as Pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. Experience with the breed is highly preferred. A visible fence is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Bell is up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heartworm, and lyme tested. She is microchipped and has a current health certificate.

Training & Support

Great Pyrenees can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective, and cannot be off-leash. Proof of a basic obedience course completion is part of our adoption contract within six months.
