Hildie

Hildie is a beautiful, purebred Standard Schnauzer who is about 9 years old. She's had a bit of a rough time recently, with her dad passing away and her mom needing to move into a memory care facility. Thankfully, she's now with us in rescue and is ready for her next chapter! She's a small Standard Schnauzer who has clearly been well-cared for her entire life. Hildie is an alpha female and can be a bit growly with new dogs at first, but she reportedly settles in and becomes playful with them. She did live with another dog previously. Due to her strong prey drive, she cannot be around small furry animals like cats, rabbits, or chickens. She is reliably house-trained and will use a bell to let you know when she needs to go outside. Hildie comes with her crate, bed, and a small supply of the food she's accustomed to.

Ideal Home

Hildie would do best in a home without cats, rabbits, or chickens due to her high prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Hildie is a senior dog and has had the best care her whole life.

Training & Support

Hildie is reliably house-trained and uses a bell to signal when she needs to go out. While she can be initially growly with new dogs, she does tend to settle and become playful with them.
