Carter

Carter is a 6-year-old, 60-pound bundle of love, loyalty, and joy! He's been a cherished family member since he was a puppy and is now seeking a new loving home. Carter is fully house-trained, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and knows his manners well. He's heartworm negative and on preventative. Carter is an obedient and devoted companion who is protective of his family. He loves playing frisbee and chasing balls in the yard but is just as happy to relax and cuddle indoors. He's a great walking companion on a leash, though he can get a bit excited when he sees other dogs. While he might be a little hesitant with new dogs at first, he warms up with patience and time.

Ideal Home

Carter would thrive in a calm home with adults or older children. He is not a good fit for families with young children and has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Carter is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is HW negative, currently on HW prevention.

Training & Support

Carter is house-trained and knows his basic manners. He can be a bit excited around other dogs on leash and may be hesitant with new dogs initially. Patience and time will help him warm up.
