Dusty

Dusty is a small, senior boy with a big heart, ready to fill your home with love and quiet companionship. He was a bit neglected in his former life, but he's come through it all with a resilient spirit and a desire to be cherished. Dusty is an excellent bed-buddy and will be your patient shadow, always by your side. He enjoys car rides and is well-behaved at the dog park, making him a great companion for adventures.

Ideal Home

Dusty would thrive in a home where he can be your devoted companion. Due to his strong dislike for crates, which he associates with being left alone, he is not a good candidate for apartment living. A home with older children would be best, as he is quite small. He gets along well with other dogs and has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Dusty is up-to-date on all his shots and has had a dental cleaning. He will be neutered before adoption. Regular grooming is a must to keep him looking and feeling his best.

Training & Support

Dusty is house-trained, but he does mark. He walks very well on a leash. His biggest behavioral need is his aversion to crates; it's best to avoid crating him unless absolutely necessary.
