Julieta

Julieta is a 7-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs around 55 lbs. Don't let her size fool you; this sweet girl absolutely thrives on hugs and affection! She's looking for a loving and supportive family to give her the home she never had. Julieta and her brother, Romeo, were rescued at 6 months old and received much-needed care and rehabilitation. Julieta is a social butterfly who loves playing with other dogs and is an intelligent girl who learned to be a good guardian. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys sniffing the world during her long walks. She's a good listener, follows commands well, and likes to play outdoors. Plus, she loves car rides, so get ready for some adventures!

Ideal Home

Julieta would thrive in a home with families who are truly committed to rescue and understand the needs of a street-smart animal. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly valued, as is a high level of patience and tolerance. A home that recognizes that rescued dogs may have an adjustment period is a must.

Ongoing Health

Julieta is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. She receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Nexgard Spectra).

Training & Support

Please note that Julieta is not house-trained. Rescued animals often require time and understanding to learn new routines and behaviors. Patience and consistent guidance will be key to her success in a new home.

Transportation

Julieta is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
