Bama

Bama is a stunning, approximately 3 1/2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a glossy black coat. Her past was unfortunately quite challenging, likely spent outdoors and used for breeding. She spent over two months in a very crowded shelter and was at risk, but we knew we had to bring her into our care. During her time with us, she's blossomed! Initially unsure of toys, she's now gaining confidence daily and is even starting to enjoy playing, even showing a delightful little bounce while chasing a ball! She's warmed up considerably and has even formed some special bonds with the men she's met. Bama is a social girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and is wonderful with both adults and children. She weighs around 71 pounds and is ready to find a loving home where she can share all the love she has to give.

Bama would thrive in a family environment where she can continue to build her confidence and enjoy all the joys of a loving home. She enjoys the company of other social dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bama has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Bama is house-trained. She's learning to interact with toys and is gaining confidence, showing a playful spirit. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help her continue to grow.
