Mars

Meet Mars, a sweet, goofy big boy weighing 95 pounds. He is friendly with people and other dogs and previously did wonderful therapy-dog work with nursing-home residents. Mars currently lives with a rescue trainer in Atlanta, where he is learning manners and commands to help him be his best self.

Ongoing Health

Mars has an old leg deformity that has been evaluated by a veterinarian. It does not require intervention, and Mars gets along quite well.

Training & Support

• Mars has therapy-dog experience.
• He is currently learning manners and commands with the rescue’s trainer.

Application Details

• All other animals in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines.
• Mars’s local adoption fee is $350.

Transportation

• Transport is available up the East Coast as far as New England for an additional $100 fee.
