About MR. NALA (seeking a fospice home)

Mr. Nala is a handsome 12-year-old Golden Retriever weighing approximately 70 lbs. He came to us as an owner surrender and, true to his name which means "love and peace," he has brought nothing but joy and companionship throughout his life. Nala is a sweet, silly, and surprisingly resilient senior who is now looking for a cozy and loving place to spend his golden years. He's navigating the world with a bit of sight loss due to an eye condition, but he's doing wonderfully, using his other keen senses and curious spirit to explore. Upon arrival, he had three masses removed, and sadly, one revealed he has terminal cancer, making him our cherished fospice dog. Despite his health challenges, Nala’s zest for life shines through, and he’s ready to be a loyal and loving companion in his final forever home.

Ideal Home

Nala would love a comfortable and calm environment where he can relax and be cherished.

Ongoing Health

Nala has an eye condition causing some sight loss and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is part of our Fospice program.

Training & Support

Nala is house-trained. His foster family will provide guidance on how to best support him.
