Meet Venus! She's a sweet and affectionate 5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix, weighing about 45 lbs. Venus is the kind of dog who melts into your lap and gazes at you like you're her whole world. She's calm and people-oriented, happy to match your energy, whether that means relaxing on the couch or joining you for an outdoor adventure. Venus loves to play with other dogs, enjoying romp sessions and zoomies in the backyard. She also adores toys and her humans, often preferring to play with them over other pups. Her zoomies and little "woos" of excitement are part of her fun, goofy charm. Venus also finds joy in splashing in water, whether it's a kiddie pool or a stream on a trail. She rides great in the car, making her a perfect companion for road trips, park visits, or trail days. Venus is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy when left loose in the house. She eats enthusiastically but does best when fed separately with a slow feeder to prevent her from sneaking other dogs' meals.

Transporation
Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA and is available for meet and greets with local adopters. For those outside Washington, out-of-state adoption is possible once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and approved dogs will be placed on the next available transport.
