Catfish

Catfish is a sweet 8+ year old, 69 lb lady who was brought to the shelter as a stray. She arrived with scars that told a story of a tough life, and the shelter environment was overwhelming for her. Sadly, she fell ill and was placed on the euthanasia list, but a wonderful foster stepped in and rescued her just in time!

Catfish has a heart full of love to give, and she's learning that it's safe to receive it too. She can be a bit eager for affection, wanting to be close, but it comes from a place of love being new and exciting for her. With patience and kindness, she's discovering that gentle affection is calm and safe. She's dog-neutral and does best with well-behaved dogs who understand and respect her boundaries. Catfish is ready for a home where she can finally feel cherished and loved for the rest of her days.
