Jason is a smart, fun-loving, and incredibly athletic dog with a heart of gold. At 64 lbs, he's the perfect size for adventure! Jason thrives on connection and is eager to please his person, often making eye contact to seek direction. He enjoys playing with other dogs but prefers to be the boss and can get into arguments if another male dog tries to dominate him. He needs to be closely monitored during introductions to ensure compatibility. Jason is a natural explorer and an excellent hiking companion, both on and off-leash. He's not a runner and will always check back in with his handler. He also loves car rides and is a true sports dog at heart, excelling at agility and anything that challenges him. He responds well to games and training, and his focus is unwavering. Despite his athletic nature, he's also very affectionate and protective when shown love. He completed his Dog School Training as a star student and knows basic commands like sit, down, off, wait, heel, and come.

Ideal Home

An experienced dog handler who can provide consistent training, continued support, and plenty of exercise. An active household that enjoys outdoor adventures would be ideal for Jason.

Ongoing Health

Jason will receive a full medical assessment before leaving Cortez Rescue to ensure he remains in optimum health.

Training & Support

Jason has completed Dog School Training and knows basic obedience commands. He benefits from continued leash and obedience training, along with ample exercise. He responds well to game-based training and thrives on challenges.
